HOA- Sponsored 4th of July Celebration
Thanks to everyone who helped out and brought dishes to the HOA 4th of July Celebration, and a special thanks to Susan Johnson for all of her work in organizing the party and buying the food and favors.  The weather held out and all of the kids had a great time in the bounce house!  See pictures from the party in the photo album to the left.

Stormwater Drainage Pond and Animals
Please remember that no one is allowed to be inside the fenced-in area around the drainage pond at the front of our neighborhood.  Residents need to make sure that our children and visitors do not enter the fenced-in area either by jumping the fence, pushing in the gate or otherwise.  Also, please make sure that our children do not disturb or bother the deer and other animals that live within the pond area.  Residents are encouraged to call Sammamish Police to report anyone who is trespassing in the pond area and otherwise harrassing any animals in our neighborhood.

Please read our updated  Newsletter for information about the Burnstead/ Woods at Beaver Lake development

2008 Association Dues.
A fair and effective HOA requires that all residents pay their dues in full and on time.  Please make sure that you are current in your dues.  The address for payments is Beaver Lake Park HOA, PO BOX 683, Issaquah, WA 98027.  Thank you.

Exterior Paint - Approval Required.
Now that the nice weather is approaching, the coming months may be a good time to touch up any peeling paint on the exterior of your homes.  This is a reminder that if you wish to change the paint color of the exterior of your house, you must first obtain the approval of the HOA Architecural Control Committee in accordance with Section 11.1 of the Association's CC&Rs.  editor_upload/File/ccrs.2.pdf  This in intended to insure the consistency and beauty of our community, which is especially important with all of the new nearby devlopments being planned.  Please contact the Board for more information (button at left).

Yard Maintenance Reminder:
The warm weather has arrived, and it is important for our community that all residents properly maintain their landscaping, which includes keeping lawns and shrubs properly trimmed, removing dead or diseased plants, and watering lawns when needed. These actions will help maintain the beauty of our neighborhood and the value of our homes, and are required by the Association's Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions. See Article XIII of the CC&Rs on the Documents page at the left for more information. editor_upload/File/ccrs.2.pdf

Minutes from Board meetings  are available upon request (via email to "Contact Us" button)*

Garbage Bins:
Please remember to bring your garbage, recycling and yard waste bins to your backyards by the end of each pick-up day.  Also, remember that the bins are not supposed to be stored in in the front or side of your house in an area that is visible to your neighbors.

Children at Play Signs
The HOA purchased 2 bright yellow children at play signs.  They will be left  against the fence for our residents to use.  Feel free to put them out when your children are playing at the playground area.  Please return them to the fence area when you go in with your children.  We are also waiting for a playground street sign to be placed by the City of Sammamish.
